K-KIDS CLUBS
A K-Kids Club provides Grades 3, 4, and 5 children in an elementary school with an opportunity to give service to their community, develop pride in their ability to contribute, learn about the operation of a volunteer organization, and develop leadership skills. The Kiwanis Club of Brantford sponsored the first K-Kids Club in the Eastern Canada and Caribbean District.

A
Builders Club is a
coeducational service organization that provides young people between the ages
of 11 and 15 the opportunity to hel
p others, serve their schools and community,
and build a positive future for themselves. These young students develop
and carry out service projects for their school and community. They may
participate in fund-raising projects and use the money to support a local
charity or school concern. Builders Clubs elect their own officers, and
hold regular meetings. Their projects are conducted under the supervision
of faculty advisors and the sponsoring Kiwanis club.
KEY CLUBS
A Key Club is a
coeducational service organization for high school students, organized and
sponsored by a Kiwanis club. It is a
self-governing organization and
elects its own officers, determines its own service activities, and establishes
its own dues structure. Its Objects include the Objects of a Kiwanis
club. The Kiwanis Club of Brantford sponsors Key Clubs in two local high
schools - Brantford Collegiate Institute and Pauline Johnson Collegiate.
CIRCLE K CLUBS
A
Circle K club is a
coeducational service, leadership-development, and friendship organization,
organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club on a college or university
campus. It is a self-governing organization an
d elects its own officers,
conducts its own meetings, determines its own service activities, and
establishes its own dues structure with active support from the sponsoring
Kiwanis club. Its Objects include the Objects of a Kiwanis club. The
Kiwanis Club of Brantford has established a Circle K Club at Nippissing
University, Brantford Campus.
