CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN
Each Christmas, club members sell Christmas cakes, cookies, truffles,
and nuts to friends, acquaintances, family members and businesses. Net proceeds
from product sold is in the region of $5,000.
PLOUGHMANS LUNCH
This annual fundraising project is held on the grounds of the W. Ross Macdonald School for the Blind. Proceeds are used to support one of the club's projects. We pre-sell over 1,000 boxes lunches to Corporate clients and, as well, offer a drive-through for individuals on the school grounds at lunchtime. Net proceeds are approximately $7,500. A fun day for all involved. The next Ploughman's Lunch event is scheduled for Thursday, June 17, 2010.
TRIVIA CONTEST
We hold two Trivia Nights yearly - one in the spring and one in the fall. These events are held at the Best Western Brant Park Inn. Next Trivia is scheduled for Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Best Western Brant Park Inn.
DINNER FOR TWO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD
Tickets are sold for $10 each or a book of 11 tickets for $100 on a chance to win Travel and Dinner for Two at a Restaurant of your choice . . Anywhere in the Word. This year's prize will be drawn at the Kiwanis Gala Dinner on Friday, September 10, 2010.
