August 4 to 7, 2010 KIWANIS DISTRICT CONVENTION: in Saint John, New Brunswick Saturday, August 14, 2010 KIWANIS FAMILY BARBECUE: at the home of Ken & Robin McNaughton. Party begins at 4:00 p.m. with dinner at 6:00 p.m. Click the link for further details. Saturday, August 28, 2010 KIWANIS DAY AT THE BLUE JAYS: at 1:00 p.m. Please submit your request before March 1st when we have to release any unused seats. Bring your families and wear your Kiwanis colours for this event. Help us get 500 plus Kiwanians and their families to the Rogers Centre (a.k.a. The Skydome) in Toronto when the Blue Jays will play the Detriot Tigers. Ticket prices at $33.00 (including a donation to our District project). Brantford has already booked a coach and can offer pick-ups in Paris, Brantford, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, and Mississauga. Please note: We will also be offering an opportunity for Kiwanians to attend the Tigers vs. Blue Jays game in Detroit on July 25th Friday, September 10, 2010 KIWANIS GALA DINNER: Plan to attend an exciting "Evening at the Great Wall" at the Brantford Golf & Country Club, starting at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy Chinese cuisine and entertainment while supporting Kiwanis' programs for children, both locally and internationally. Tickets are $100 per person, with a charitable receipt for a portion of the ticket price. Dress for the event is comfortable, but traditional garb is encouraged.
